Dr. Dustin K. Wilde

Dr. Dustin Wilde, DMD, is a dedicated and compassionate dental professional committed to providing exceptional care to every patient he serves. Known for his gentle approach and attention to detail, Dr. Wilde combines advanced clinical skill with a genuine passion for helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Dr. Wilde earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Brigham Young University (BYU), where he developed a strong scientific foundation and a deep interest in understanding how oral health impacts overall well-being. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he received rigorous training in advanced clinical care and patient-centered dentistry.

He believes that great dentistry begins with trust. Dr. Wilde takes the time to listen, educate, and ensure each patient feels comfortable and informed throughout their visit. Whether performing routine preventive care or addressing more complex dental needs, he focuses on delivering high-quality, personalized treatment in a welcoming environment.

Outside the office, Dr. Wilde is the proud father of five daughters and one son. He enjoys spending his free time with his children, creating memories, staying active, and supporting their many interests. His family inspires his commitment to creating a warm, family-centered practice where patients of all ages feel at ease.

Hygienists

Jody – Registered Dental Hygienist

Jody has been with Advanced Family Dental Care since 2009. She was an oral surgery assistant for 8 years before attending hygiene school, where she graduated in 2007 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in dental hygiene. Jody likes how we treat our patients like family: with special care and respect. She also enjoys the camaraderie she shares with her coworkers. Jody loves her patients and she hopes to make their visits to our office comfortable and satisfying. She loves working with Dr. Wilde and loves our team.

Jody is a long time Alaskan and has been married for 16 years. She is the mother of 3 children. She enjoys running, biking, camping, and fishing – what she calls typical Alaskan activities. Jody also loves CrossFit and is a level 1 CrossFit instructor.

Darcy – Registered Dental Hygienist

Darcy graduated from the UAA Dental Hygiene Program in 2000 and has been practicing in Alaska for 18 years. She strives to make patients comfortable by addressing their concerns and providing care in a kind and non-judgmental manner. In her off time, she enjoys riding ATVs and snow machines, playing musical instruments, playing ice hockey, and attending (rock!) concerts with her husband and four children.

Molly – Registered Dental Hygienist

Molly earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences, with a minor in Spanish, from UAF, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from UAA. She joined our team in 2022, and enjoys the camaraderie, mutual trust and respect for one another of our team. Molly truly loves working one-on-one with patients, both educating and comforting them while catering to their specific needs.

Outside of the office, Molly enjoys downhill skiing, singing, taking pictures and traveling.

Marc – Registered Dental Hygienist

Brynn – Registered Dental Hygienist

Brynn is a 2007 graduate of the UAA dental hygiene program. She joined our team in August 2024, and loves working with a compassionate, fun-filled and easy-going team. She also loves our patients, and is dedicated to helping each patient she meets understand the connection between oral health and whole-body health, providing understanding care with a gentle touch.

Brynn and her husband Jake have four children, and as a family they love to travel and have adventures. Brynn’s other hobbies include hiking, cross country skiing, competing in races and triathlons, exploring new places, and serving in her local community and through dental mission work.

Dental Assistants

Dawn – Dental Assistant/Front Desk

Dawn completed her dental assisting program in 1991, and joined our dental family in 2010. She cherishes our patients and the relationships she has built with them over the years, and loves working with Dr. Dustin and her coworkers.

Dawn and her husband of 33 years have two grown sons and three grandchildren. In her free time she loves working on puzzles, watching movies and spending time with her family.

Denali – Dental Assistant

Denali completed hands-on training through the Southern Oregon Dental Assisting Association before joining our team in 2025. When not in the office, she enjoys cross country skiing, water coloring and fishing.

Sarah – Dental Assistant

Sarah joined our team in 2021, training on the job as an assistant. She enjoys the family dynamic of our practice. Sarah is currently attending UAA to become a hygienist, and cannot wait to further her career at Advanced Family Dental Care. While she attends school she will work part-time at our practice on Fridays, so patients may recognize her voice more than her face when they visit us.

Sarah recently married her wonderful husband, who she has been with since the age of 16. Outside the office, she enjoys trying new arts and crafts to get her creativity flowing, as well as reading.
